February, 2005. 2004 - end of popup ads?
February-April, 2005. New tests were developed (Interstitials,

April, 2005. It seems that popup blocking software is destructive in any cases.
For example a lot of educational and business sites use pop-up windows as an necessary part
of the educational (business) process.
I think a good popup killer should accept popup windows from EDU- and HTTPS- sites.
The corresponding test was added (Popups from https- and edu-sites)
May-September, 2005. All popup blockers were retested.
August, 2005. JoAnn O. Rachor proposed me to develop popup-killer tester. This program should recognize
the popular popup blockers installed and help user to adjust them to accept popups from the useful sites.
Popup Killer Tester was quickly developed (now it recognizes 24 popular popup blockers).
It is free. Click here to get more info.
