Pop-up Killer Review

Last updated: Sep 9, 2005

A quote from Popups Nuker's site:

No more popups. Now you can enjoy surfing the internet.

PopupsNuker Ver 1.6 is designed to block all advertisements. It is completely customizable, from blocking nothing to turning off images, ActiveX controls, and many other potentially annoying techniques.

You will be notified by a sound alert if a popup is detected.

Popups Nuker supports many browsers such as: Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, AOL and other browsers.

It only stops popup windows, never interferes with user's navigation.
It plays sound and flash tray icon when it is working.
It consumes little system resources!
So if you got bored from silly popup's annoying you while you are surfing the net you have to choose Popups NUKER to block popups for you as long as you are surfing the internet.
When the program starts it is automatically minimized to the system tray. To show the program window, just double click the tray icon or right click it & then choose Show Popups NUKER from the menu.

My notes:
After installation Popups Nuker tell me that it adjusts proxy-server settings.
Well. But when it finished I discover that Popups Nuker cripples my proxy-server settings for https.
Moreover it does not allow proxy chain, so Popups Nuker does not work if you connect to Internet via proxy-server.
